Shopify’s built-in catalog could not handle multi-level automotive filtering by make, model and model year. Customers struggled to find the right filter, and the catalog was hard for staff to keep up to date.
The solution
What we built
We built a custom CMS with an advanced fitment engine, using a performance-optimized React.js front end and a Node.js and MySQL backend. Shoppers drill down by year, make, model and engine to the exact filter. When they are ready to buy, they go straight into Shopify’s secure checkout.
